Privacy Policy
How PLAIN WALLS SUCK LLC collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.
PLAIN WALLS SUCK LLC (“Plain Walls Suck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at https://plainwallssuck.com(the “Website”), how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you. By using the Website or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide voluntarily
We collect the information you choose to give us when you fill out a form, request a quote, call, email, or otherwise contact us. This typically includes:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Project details you volunteer — property location, project type, scope, room count, budget range, timeline, and how you heard about us
- Your consent selections, including whether you opted in to non-marketing and/or marketing text messages, along with the date and time of that consent
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, we may automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This may be collected through cookies or similar technologies used for basic analytics and security. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the Website may not function as intended.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information — such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information — through this Website, and we ask that you not send it to us.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our interior renovation and design services
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations, site visits, and installations
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and design directions for your project
- Send transactional communications — confirmations, appointment reminders, project updates, and scheduling notifications
- Send marketing communications where you have given us permission to do so, in compliance with applicable law
- Improve the Website, our services, and the customer experience
- Comply with our legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues
3. Email marketing
If you provide your email address, we may send you promotional emails about our services, project features, and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time by using that link or by contacting us directly at plainwallssuck@gmail.com. Opting out of marketing email does not stop transactional emails related to an active project or inquiry.
4. SMS messaging policy
Our contact form offers two separate, optional text message consents. Both are unchecked by default and require you to actively check the box to opt in. Neither consent is required to submit the form, and consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
Non-marketing (transactional) messages
Marketing messages
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and project activity. Standard message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan — check with your carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and messaging is not supported on every carrier or device.
Opt-out and help
You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We will send a single confirmation message and will not send further texts to that number unless you opt in again. To resume messages, simply opt in again using the same method you originally used. For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at (908) 433-5736 or plainwallssuck@gmail.com. You may opt out of marketing messages, non-marketing messages, or both — opting out of one does not automatically opt you out of the other.
5. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors who support our operations — our CRM platform, website hosting provider, SMS/messaging vendor, email platform, and analytics — solely so they can perform those services for us and under contractual obligations to protect your information.
- Trade partners. If your project moves forward, the installers, fabricators, and subcontractors who need your details to perform the work you engaged us for.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case your information remains subject to this Policy.
6. Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular updates — to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with our legal, tax, warranty, and recordkeeping obligations. Records of your SMS consent and any opt-out are retained for as long as required by applicable law and carrier rules.
8. Your choices and rights
- Text messages. Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for assistance.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us directly.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
9. Children’s privacy
The Website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Our services are intended for adults aged 18 or older.
10. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party sites, such as our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the content, services, or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
